One of my favorite parts of a destination wedding is the day after session – as I call it, trash the dress! As I’ve said before the dress is never ruined but in this case our beautiful bride bought a separate wedding gown just for the session. How cool is that?! And I think we loved it equally as much as her wedding ceremony gown! The day after session is about having fun and getting some awesome wedding shots you wouldn’t normally see. You don’t worry about it getting wet or dirty just plain and simple rock it out the best you can during the session and have a blast! This session took place in the early morning on the beaches of beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaiaca at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Resort. We then moved on to the pools and resort grounds. The water as you can see is just stunning.
Wanting more Jamaica wedding shots? Be sure to check out the video slideshow from their gorgeous wedding posted here . We can’t wait to go back to Jamaica!
Thank you Stacie and Steven for letting us captire your special day and romantic trash the dress.
Here are some of our favorite portraits from our most recent destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall resort. Stacie is another bride whom found us through the Best Destination Wedding site! Being a former DW bride I really embrace the nature of destination weddings. Not only are you at one of most romantic islands of the world but sharing your special trip with family and close friends makes it perfect. To put it simple – It’s Paradise! Stacie & Steve were so awesome to work with and their day was beautiful indeed with bright blue skies followed by a dreamy Jamaican sunset.
Thank you so much for letting Summer and myself capture your special day. It was a wonderful day and getting to know you along your journey was a blessing! Congratulations!!!
You may recognize this little cutie from previous sessions. One of my favorite portraits is of him and a pickle. lol. He is one of my favorite clients and of course when his Mom asked me to photograph his first birthday I was totally in!! We had fun with balloons, cake (well sort of – see below), food, friends and of course presents!!!
Seniors Portraits can be more fun than you may think. All it takes is a little prep. A beautiful location is always a must have. In July we took some vacation up to Washington state. Loved the scenery and our class of 2011 model. She was a real pro! Best of luck T in your senior high school year!
Class of 2011 book your senior session this month to receive a personalized Class of 2011 announcement.
