This shoot has to be one of my favorites not only because this couple has the sweetest dog, Angel or because they are so photogenic, it’s because we’ve became friends over the past few weeks and they simply ROCK!

We met up and took some photos at the park with Angel then moved on to Antelope Island. Love that scenery this time of year! It provides for some out of the world backgrounds and best part yet they’re completely natural

I can’t believe my little cousin is getting married!  Actually yes I can she’s a great catch; she’s a beautiful woman both inside and out. Has a heart like no other and a humorous side that could make anyone laugh. It feels like just yesterday we were hanging out in grandma’s closet founding members of the “zeddy club” or encountering a bear at the lake (thanks again for saving my life that summer).

Last month I was honored to take her winter engagement photos for her upcoming wedding this June! It’s going to be a blast up at Nesslin Lake, Saskatchewan and I am going to be enjoying the wedding on the other side of the lens as a bridesmaid. Pretty crazy stuff but it’s going to be so much fun!

Congratulations once again Brad & Samantha! Hope your engagement is a wonderful, exciting, joyful experience.  Love you both!

This Welcome dinner cruise was amazing! Not only did we get to see some dolphins along the sunset of the Destin harbor but we got to meet the wedding party and guests in a relaxed atmosphere aboard the Miss Florida Glass Bottom Boat. The food was incredible, provided by chef Heyward McKenzie . His fresh crab cakes were a little taste of paradise, Mmm. The sunset was gorgeous and the live music was fabulous. Such a relaxing atmosphere the night before a wedding. Anyone looking into this option in the Destin area totally needs to do this because it’s something you will never forget.

Special thanks to K + N for letting me photograph this special event. I hope you are able to look at these photographs and keep the memories alive. It was such a gorgeous night along the Destin Harbor and jetties.

Wedding season is just around the corner for Melissa Green Photography, starting 9/19 we will have three weddings in a row to photograph!  Very exciting events!  That being said meet C + J. They are getting married 10/3/09 and for their engagement photography session we went out to Pensacola Beach. We had so much fun in the sand and it was a pleasure working with these two soon to be newly weds.
