This little guy was such a good model.  He co-operated so well and we even got a smile! Here are just a few portraits from his newborn session captured a few weeks ago.

Thank you to his family for inviting me into your home for the session. Love so many of these portraits I hope you all do too.

Look at this little doll, isn’t she just beautiful? So thankful this little one’s mamma contacted me about doing Audrina’s newborn portraits. It’s so amazing to be apart of a little one’s life and meet them for the first time when they are just days old.

If you’re looking to book portraits for your newest edition to your family here’s a few tips to keep in mind:

You should schedule your portraits a few months ahead and let your photographer know your due date and keep in touch with them as to how everything is coming along especially if you get induced. Then we can bump up the dates and fit you within the schedule. Ideally the session should take place within 5 – 12 days after the birth but no longer than 2 weeks after.

The day of the shoot the baby should be fed, burped and ready to show off for the camera. Be patient. It’s a good thing to realize before hand that we are on the baby’s schedule. Don’t stress out. We can take as many breaks as you need to feed them or to mellow them out. It’s all good.

The majority of the portraits will work best if the baby is sleeping so we suggest doing whatever you need to do to encourage this for the shoot. If they’re awake and alert it makes our job a lot harder as photographers. Depending on your baby’s sleep schedule is when we will schedule your shoot.

Now back to Audrina and her gorgeous family. I love how her big brother got in most of the shots and showed me his collection of cars. Isn’t he a cutie?! Thanks guys for inviting me into your home and letting me capture your family and new bundle of joy.

Park City Children Photographer – Park City Portraits

What a little charmer his fella was with his big blue eyes. I had the pleasure of spending the morning in Park City, Utah with him and his beautiful mamma to take some portraits for a surprise father’s day gift. Thank you Mrs M for welcoming me into your home to take your son’s portraits.

Three month old portraits are the perfect time to capture that relationship of mother and babe. After all they depend on you for everything this first few months of life. You are their world! And I’m sure it’s mutual as they are yours. What a perfect time to get some portraits done capturing these moments.

I swear these two could be models!
