I was so excited to photograph these 2 awaiting their precious new baby to join their other little precious joy. I love me some maternity sessions and this one was no exception. They were so adorable together with sweet little daughter, A. Isn’t she just precious? It was great meeting you and I can’t wait to meet little baby S. These soon to be parents were both the cutest and the bravest for heading out to Antelope Island where the bugs were in full force. We were still able to capture some dreamy maternity portraits like my favorite below. I just had to photoshop out the massive bug clouds

There’s nothing that I love more than incorporating a bump into portraits 
Maternity portraits are such an art. This client must have thought i was a tad bit crazy as I was running around, falling over – trying to get that perfect angle. Not too sure if my mind is normal on how it works but I always “see” it a bit differently in my head than the camera presents me with. It’s a constant tug of war.
We did half of these portaits in the studio with studio lighting and then headed outdoors for a beautiful winter afternoon. Yes, there was green grass in the middle of winter and my Canadian blood loved every minute of it.
Congratulations to these very cute parents to be. Little Wesley should be here very soon! I can’t wait for his arrival. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives. It was a wonderful day.
